Schneider Electric will be hosting a virtual Cyber Summit 2020 event next week on Tuesday, March 17. This is an all-day event with some great information and sessions from a variety of experts. ARC will be participating as well, and I will be sitting on an online panel discussion at 2:30 PM Eastern with representatives from Schneider Electric and OT/ICS cybersecurity supplier Nozomi Networks. The topic of our panel discussion is Cybersecurity is not “one-size-fits-all”: what are some common and specialized best practices to reduce risk? Cyber threats are evolving, and not everybody has the resources to develop a full cybersecurity organization at their operating company, and if you don’t have a well thought out cybersecurity plan, it can be difficult to get started. If you are a more mature organization with a good cybersecurity plan and organization in place, sustaining that organization can be a challenge. This discussion is for organizations at any point on the maturity curve.
In a time where travel is severely restricted, the Cyber Summit is a great way to learn more about ICS/OT cybersecurity from the comfort of your own laptop, and the summit runs all day long, from 10 AM Eastern to 4:45 PM Eastern. You can register for the event here and you can check out the full agenda here.
