Convergence of Safety and Cybersecurity Panel Discussion
Several of us from ARC will be attending, moderating, and presenting at the ISA Process Industry Conference (PIC) next week in Houston at the Westin Houston in Memorial City. We will be hosting a panel discussion on the formation of the new ISA Global Cybersecurity Alliance on the convergence of cybersecurity and safety on Tuesday, November 5 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM. Joining me will be representatives from AE Solutions PAS. We will discuss how the convergence of safety and cybersecurity has evolved beyond concern around cyberattacks on process safety systems to include a wide range of issues where cybersecurity affects plant safety.
ISA Global Cybersecurity Alliance Panel Discussion
On Wednesday, November 6 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM I will be moderating a panel discussion on the formation of the new ISA Global Cybersecurity Alliance (ISAGCA) along with Gary DiFazio of Tripwire, Andrew Kling of Schneider Electric, Steve Mustard of National Automation, Inc., and Megan Samford of Rockwell Automation. We will discuss the reasons behind the formation of ISAGCA and plans moving forward. We will also be taking questions from the audience for both of these panel discussions, so please attend and be a part of the discussion!
The entire conference is full of good sessions with lots of experts both local and otherwise. If you are in the greater Houston area it's definitely worth taking a couple of days to participate in this event.
