Industrie 4.0 and the equivalent Smart Manufacturing initiatives in Europe and the US have swept through the discrete and process industries as the next corporate IT investment initiative. It has been approximately four years since the initial efforts were undertaken by early adopters. This session will explore the plans and forward progress witnessed by process manufacturing companies. Their experiences will be discussed including key factors for success, enabling technologies being deployed, and limiting challenges encountered during the piloting and early implementation of their respective company's digital transformation programs.
Following the presentations will be an interactive Q&A facilitated by ARC stimulated by results from a recent ARC Digital Transformation survey.
