ARC’s European Industry Forum is part of our successful series of worldwide conferences in Europe, America and Asia. The next European Forum will be held in Sitges (Barcelona), Spain on May 15 - 17, 2023 and focus on “Managing Industry Evoluation in Times of Global Disruption”. Participants are invited to attend exclusive presentations and workshops on strategies and case studies from the digital front lines.

ARC industry analysts and other experts from the end user and supplier communities will analyze and discuss trends and drivers for hot industry topics, such as:

Sustainability: Decarbonization, Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Production

There is rapidly growing demand worldwide for efficient tools and products to cut energy consumption and reduce emissions to build a more sustainable future. The recent COP27 agreement recognizes that limiting global warming requires rapid, extensive, and sustained reductions in global greenhouse gas emissions, including carbon dioxide, and other emissions. Yet, rising energy prices, geopolitical and supply chain issues may threaten this resolve. Heavy investments in power generation, and energy are required and many nations feel the need to keep relying on our finite natural resources, which in turn impact the environment adversely.

Some of the best strategies forward are avoiding waste of energy, increasing energy efficiency, moving towards renewable energy sources, recycling, and a circular economy. To reduce energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions, many governments have already imposed local regulations. Decarbonization targets push manufacturing and energy companies to limit their carbon emissions and to invest in sustainable, energy efficient solutions and green energy sources. These goals are becoming part of the core business strategies for industrial companies, who now have the mandate and opportunity to tackle environmental and social challenges.

ARC’s European Industry Forum will host a dedicated track session on sustainability topic, with a focus on decarbonization, energy efficiency and sustainable production.
