Sitech @ EIF 2017 – Process Data Analytics Journey

On May 16th and 17th 2017, ARC Advisory Group will host its European Industry Forum (EIF) in the Meliã Hotel Sitges in Spain.  The European Industry Forum is part of ARC’s successful series of worldwide conferences in the USA, India, China, and Japan.

Marc Pijpers, Principal Process Control Engineer at Sitech and Edwin van Dijk, Vice President Marketing at TrendMiner, will present Sitech’s process data analytics journey applying Trendminer, from a user’s perspective.

Sitech's improvement and performance based maintenance services aim to increase the profitability of customer's plants by optimizing their production processes. On a journey of continuous improvement and innovation, (predictive) analytics play an important role. As part of this journey, Sitech started a pilot of joint innovation with Trendminer two years ago. The objective of this pilot was to support engineers in performing more effective and efficient analysis in troubleshooting and opportunity spotting, compared to the traditional toolkit. In this presentation they will share thought and experiences of this journey. Based upon several use cases, they'll demonstrate that significant improvements can be achieved in a much shorter time frame
