At the recent ARC Annual Forum, I chaired a through-provoking discussion on the subject of integrated Mobility more commonly known as Mobility-as-a-Service.

Mobility as a Service (MaaS) platform is a new concept describing transport alternatives to personally-owned automobiles. A MaaS subscriber pays for access to transport rather than their own vehicle, maintenance, taxes, insurance, and parking. This session featured case studies highlighting the business opportunities of shared mobility as well as how the next generation of travelers will experience a transformation of their habits, a reduction in single-occupant vehicles, reductions in transportation expenses, and - from a supplier's perspective - an increase profitability of customer-focused mobility services.
