We know that there are three methods to deal with risk: mitigate, transfer, or accept. This session will focus on the fact that the world will be dependent upon cyber risk transfer and security, and what we can do about this. Examining the insurance market today with historical context, we will explore types of cyber risk coverage that are offered including their coverage areas and exclusions. The discussion will include a focus on how cyber risk coverage applies within Industrial Control Systems, along with specific pre-requisites for coverage in this realm.
