Peter has held various positions in international companies during his 33 years of work experience. He started putting a strong focus on functional safety at the end of the 1980s. Peter is HIMA's Vice President of the region China and Vice President Norms & Standards. He is actively involved in the development of international standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, and IEC 62443. He also is one of the German experts working at the Sino German Collaboration for Industry 4.0 and functional safety. Before joining HIMA, he was CEO of a system integrator BILFINGER Group company which focused on turnkey applications in the process industry.
