Michael’s experience includes 6 years as a Production Engineer with AERA Energy and Plains Exploration & Production managing multiple steam flood properties in Kern County, California. He then worked as a Reservoir Engineer for 5 years with Plains Exploration & Production and Freeport McMoRan Oil and Gas in waterflood properties in the LA Basin. Michael was promoted to Reservoir Manager for LA Basin and Offshore/Coastal California, and after two years, became the Reservoir Manager of all California properties. In early 2017, Freeport McMoRan Oil and Gas divested all their California properties and Michael moved over to Temblor Petroleum, which focusses on exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, as President.
