Marty is a globally recognized industrial control systems cybersecurity expert who collaborates with industry, government, and academia to raise awareness of the growing risks of industrial cybersecurity incidents and the need to take steps to mitigate them. In addition to Director of Strategic Initiatives for ISA, he also serves as Managing Director of the Automation Federation. Prior to joining ISA in mid-2017, Marty, a 25-year industry veteran, was the longest-serving Director of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Industrial Control Systems Cyber Emergency Response Team (ICS-CERT). In 2016, he was recognized by FCW in its “Federal 100 Awards” as being one of the top IT professionals in the U.S. federal government.
