With 20+ years of experience in the oil and gas industry, Dion has held numerous technical and operational positions in the fields of hydraulic fracture and cementing product service lines, business development, quality control, and has managed several highly functional technical teams over the years. His current role as a technology development manager is focused on Halliburton’s digital transformation efforts for their largest Division, Completion and Production. As the Product Champion for Halliburton’s Voice of the Oilfield™ digital technology, they are integrating cutting edge technologies, real time data, and advanced edge analytics, with reservoir models and digital twins to help operators produce hydrocarbons more efficiently. Voice of the Oilfield won the World Oil Award for Best Digital Transformation Technology in 2018.
