Khalid is responsible for planning and directing advanced process solutions activities at corporate engineering including the development, review, and recommendations on company-wide engineering solutions, standards, and practices pertaining to design, operation, and maintenance of all advanced process controls, plant management information systems (historians), process data technologies and analytics, process modeling, simulations and process/supply-chain optimization, laboratory information systems, and manufacturing operations management systems. He is also responsible for the administration and facilitation of the corporate Engineering Solutions Center, which provides an environment for teams of engineers to solve chronic problems, evaluate and deploy technologies across the company, and perform other critical engineering functions and activities in a more effective manner. His responsibilities span all oil and gas operating facilities, terminals, and pipelines across the company.
