Ken has worked in the information technology industry for the last 33 years.  He has broad expertise in big data and analytics as well as information management, cybersecurity, and data warehousing.  Ken has been with BP for 19 years working across both Upstream and Downstream.  He is an industry standards champion for BP and actively works with MIMOSA, IOGP, DAMA, and PPDM.  Ken is currently on the board of MIMOSA.  In this age of digitalization and interoperability Ken’s focus has been on how to gain greater value from the company’s vast information assets, through truly scalable and sustainable solutions.   He is responsible for the strategy and architecture of BP’s Data Lake environment.   Over the years he has driven programs around data governance, data quality, master data management, standards based interoperability, cybersecurity, information modeling, document management, metadata management, data archiving, access control, and search.
