Jim leads a comprehensive global commercialization strategy for Current’s Intelligent cities solution which focuses on helping cities build the digital infrastructure they need to build the intelligent city of the future. The Intelligent LED lighting solution enables citizen engagement, economic growth, and can improve the quality of life for citizens in cities. With GE since 1996, Jim has gained valuable experience working with its Power, Energy, Appliances and Lighting businesses. He has more than 17 years of experience leading commercial teams at both GE and The Hoover Company, where he led product management and marketing. Jim is a member of the Smart Cities Council steering committee and represents GE as a Platform Partner for US Ignite and NIST’s Global Cities Team Challenge.
