Dave has over 25 years with Phillips 66 and led the Industrial Control Systems Safety and Cybersecurity for Refining team. Recent efforts include fired heater safeguard standards and the development of cybersecurity policy for the ICS environment. Dave led the initial organizational integration of IT (Information Technology) and OT (Operation Technology) for ICS Cybersecurity and recently led the digital transformation sub team defining the organization for the OT/IT environment. He is a voting member of the ISA 84 committee (Safety Instrumented Systems standards) and has provided content for the recently published ISA Technical Report 84.00.09 Cybersecurity Related to the Functional Safety Lifecycle.
