Chester joined Alcoa Minerals of Jamaica as an electrical engineer in 1978.  During which time, he worked on many instrumentation and control systems projects to enhance the performance of the alumina refinery.   Chester worked in various engineering and supervisory positions over the next years alternating between Engineering and Information and Process Systems department.  In 1998 he returned to Jamaica as Engineering and Maintenance Manager with responsibility for project engineering, powerhouse, maintenance and IPS for the mines, refinery, and port facilities.   In 2001 Chester joined Alcoa World Alumina as process systems manager for the Atlantic plants.  He was responsible for the QUASAR program implementation in the Atlantic alumina refineries and was relocated to the Honeywell offices in Houston, Texas.  Presently he is Global Services Manager located in Alcoa’s corporate office in Pittsburgh, responsible for alumina refinery process control support services in Spain, Brazil, Suriname, Jamaica and Australia.
