Uma is an experienced industry professional with over 30 years of experience in serving manufacturing industries in various facets from plant automation through operational excellence to today’s Industry4.0 industrial transformation. She is a goal driven technology executive with a flair for innovation and creative problem solving. Uma was the first chairwoman of Karnataka Region, CII- IWN (2012-13) and brought about many changes at the grassroots level, including leadership development in government schools, women friendly industrial shop floor design, and development of women workforce for factory floors. Uma is an Engineering graduate with an MBA.
