Indra has 18 years of diverse experience in industrial automation, process control, industrial wireless, IT-OT integrated business applications, asset performance monitoring, and other digital solutions.  He has been involved in different phases of project and product management, requirement analysis, development, validation, market introduction, projects/support/customer training, and solution consulting.  Indra has not only worked as an end user of industrial products for petrochemicals and oil & gas upstream industries but also worked in various product development groups of leading technology companies.  He also holds a patent granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).  Indra currently leads several digital initiatives at Cairn Oil and Gas, Vedanta including control room logbook and field operator rounds digitalization, digital oil field (DOF) solution integration with ERP, application of machine learning and data analytics in sub surface domain, and advanced process control in optimizing artificial lift systems.
