K.S. Viswanathan has been at the forefront of NASSCOM’s efforts towards building a strong coalition among members to help India retain its pole position in the IT sector. He oversees the startup initiatives and his key focus has been on building Centers of Excellence. He is responsible for implementing the National Skills Registry initiative to make India a secure destination for IT outsourcing activities. In his career spanning 36 years, he has held leadership positions at Wipro Infotech, Dell, and Azim Premji Foundation. Viswanathan is a graduate from Birla Institute of Technology and Science and holds an MBA from Madras University.
