Doug is a seasoned executive and security professional who directs the SANS Industry Practice and helps companies meet objectives to manage risk, build an effective cybersecurity workforce, and ensure safer, more secure operations. His career includes industrial security consulting and global standards work and he also served as Rockwell Automation’s Director of Product Security Risk Management. He is an accomplished writer, speaker, CISSP, and he holds numerous patents. He was recognized by The White House for contributions to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and received SANS 2013 People Who Made a Difference in Cybersecurity Award.
