Erich has been working for Microsoft for 15 years in various technical roles and now leads the Azure Industrial IoT team. In his role, Erich is responsible for the overall strategy and product development for the manufacturing and energy verticals in conjunction with the Azure Cloud offerings as well as international standards work in this space, especially within the OPC Foundation and the Platform Industrie 4.0. He is also responsible for strategic Microsoft alliances in the industrial space.
