Atal Tunnel is one of the world’s longest and highest-altitude tunnels and will reduce the distance between Manali and Leh in Himachal Pradesh by 46 km. Siemens has partnered and implemented latest tunnel automation and digital technologies for this prestigious project. The total length of the tunnel located at Rohtang Pass is 9.02 km and is at an elevation of 3,100 meters (10,000 feet), which makes it the world’s longest at this altitude.
