Red Lion Controls announced the release of their new NT328G Layer 3 Ethernet switch. Offering 28 high-speed ports (24-Gigabit, 4-10 Gigabit) and wire-speed switching performance, the NT328G offers performance that is designed to help meet the current and future requirements of the Oil & Gas, Water & Wastewater, Energy, Transportation, and video and security sectors, as well as other bandwidth-intensive industrial applications.
Red Lion’s NT328G Layer 3 industrial Ethernet models feature a flexible mix of copper and fiber ports, allowing for a variety of connection options, with Layer 3 routing that provides the ability to route across VLANs or subnets, which helps to provide added versatility that better enables scalability. The industrial-grade NT328G’s feature set includes network redundancy, integrated security, policy-based traffic control and user-friendly designed configuration and management tools, which helps to reduce operating costs while providing continuous monitoring of network activity. Its IP30 rackmount metal housing is constructed to be more rugged and for longer-life use in harsh industrial environments, including a wider range of operating temperature conditions and hazardous locations, providing added durability that helps to ensure reduced downtime. Suited for both large-scale and a wide variety of industrial networks, the NT328G is designed with added flexibility to help meet both present and long-term speed and media requirements.
