On May 15th and 16th 2018, ARC Advisory Group will host its European Industry Forum (EIF) in the Meliã Hotel Sitges in Spain.  The European Industry Forum is part of ARC’s successful series of worldwide conferences in the USA, India, China, and Japan.

Uwe Kueppers, Chairman of EMEA Board of MESA International, will talk about “How Is MOM/MES Being Changed as Digitization Takes Hold?”

Every day, we receive messages talking about the benefits of using new technologies in the context of Industrie 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, …

The question is more about how these technologies will improve the efficiency of our business processes and will enable the implementation of new business models such as “product as a service”.

Re-starting from the business needs, we will demonstrate that MES/MOM is not a dead concept.  It remains crucial to build contextual big data and therefore to facilitate analytics.  MES/MOM is not collecting data, it is creating the knowledge of the plant to enable people and process in a digital environment.
