FEED Services for Relocating Packaging Equipment Provided by LTTS

Background and Client: The client required FEED (Front End Engineering Design) services, CapEx estimation, and EPCM (engineering, procurement, and construction management) ownership for relocating packaging equipment from one location to a different  greenfield brewery site in India. LTTS (L&T Technology Services) was chosen for its expertise in FEED and detailed engineering, cost engineering, and extensive vendor network and coordination.

LTTS’ Approach: LTTS undertook the responsibility for unloading and health checkup of existing machinery, transportation, installation at new site, and commissioning. LTTS also provided:

• Conceptual layout and scheme
• Design basis report
• Bill of quantity (BOQ)
• Tender documents
• CapEx estimation

Value Addition: LTTS enabled re-use of maximum machinery from the existing facility and revalidated through OEMs. Other value adds:

• All process packaging was re-used
• The new design included facilities and utilities
