ARC’s European Industry Forum is part of our successful series of worldwide conferences in Europe, America and Asia. The next European Forum will be held in Sitges (Barcelona), Spain on May 15 - 17, 2023 and focus on “Managing Industry Evolution in Times of Global Disruption”. Participants are invited to attend exclusive presentations and workshops on strategies and case studies from the digital front lines.

ARC industry analysts and other experts from the end user and supplier communities will analyze and discuss trends and drivers for hot industry topics, such as:

Digital Twins in Industrial Applications

A digital twin is defined as the virtual replica of a real-world product, a system, communities, or even cities that are continuously updated with data from its physical counterpart, as well as its environment. It bridges the virtual cyberspace with the physical entities and, as such, is considered to be the pillar of Industry 4.0 and the innovation backbone of the future. A digital twin is created and used throughout the whole life cycle of the entity it replicates.

This workshop will provide a deeper insight into digital twins in industrial applications. What are the benefits? What are the challenges of implementation and usage of digital twins? Are there different levels of digital twins that we can use, or does it need to be a full blown aplication? What is a good approach to start the journey towards using or providing digital twin solutions? What are the business cases? These and more questions will be discussed with our experts from the industry, who will share their knowledge and experiences about digital twins.
