Detail Engineering and Site Support Services Provided by LTTS

Client’s Challenges and Requirements: The client was looking for detail engineering and site support services for a greenfield edible oil refinery (1,000 TPD capacity) located in Africa.  Globally, edible oil manufacturers face the constantly growing challenges of low margins, fluctuating quality of raw materials, and changing consumer habits.  Improving production performance and driving down operations costs calls for innovative technology.  L&T Technology Services (LTTS) was chosen for its proven expertise in:

What LTTS Enabled:  LTTS provided detail engineering and site support for the greenfield edible oil refinery through a multidisciplinary approach.  Engineering services were provided for the physical refinery, fractionation plant, neutralization plant, electrical substation, warehouses, and other facilities.  LTTS prepared the design basis report, 3D models, and technical specifications datasheets.  Multiple reports were prepared for stress analysis, electrical system design and electrical transient analyzer program (ETAP).  LTTS also prepared:

• P&IDs and equipment, piping, duct, cable layouts
• Bill of Quantity and request for quotation (RFQ) for packages and construction
