On May 15th and 16th 2018, ARC Advisory Group will host its European Industry Forum (EIF) in the Meliã Hotel Sitges in Spain. The European Industry Forum is part of ARC’s successful series of worldwide conferences in the USA, India, China, and Japan.
The keynote on “Setting priorities in digital transformation” will be presented by Felix Hanisch, Head of Industrial Automation, Bayer/Board Member, NAMUR
After „Industrie 4.0“ and „Internet of Things“, “Digitalization” is the next buzz word risking to be burnt. Thus, it is important to focus on strategic priorities: where can digitalization add value in industrial production? How do you identify, prioritize and justify the right topics and projects? Which are partners of choice you can trust?
Based on own experiences, which were not all positive, as well as shared knowledge from NAMUR as leading international user association of automation technology in process industries, this presentation tries to give examples and offers ideas how to answer above questions.
