AVEVA has expanded its strategic collaboration with Microsoft to further strengthen both companies’ data integration platforms to help further drive digital transformation and sustainability for industrial customers. This expanded collaboration can help to better prepare customers to incorporate AI in key industries.

The agreement will see an even closer synergy between industrial cloud platform AVEVA Connect and data analytics solution Microsoft Fabric, which is currently in public preview. This expanded synergy is designed to help customers streamline the process of collecting, transforming, and unifying data from various sources as well as gather data from different parts of an organization’s operations, including manufacturing processes, supply chains, and other relevant systems. These platforms and solutions offer tools for data cleansing, transformation, and enrichment, making the data more consistent and useful for downstream applications and preparing data to power AI capabilities.

With Microsoft's end-to-end solutions in the cloud and AVEVA's industry experience and software applications, the unique combination of capabilities helps businesses to further capitalize on the technology to become more agile, resilient, and sustainable. Customers can better adapt to changing market conditions and customer demands with more flexible and scalable solutions. Continuity and security of operations is better ensured with cloud services; while risks can be better managed and monitored with proactive and predictive analytics. Environmental impacts can be reduced, and social responsibility increased, through the efficiency and productivity that AI applications can bring.

AVEVA Connect is designed to help turn data into actionable insights to further improve businesses decision-making. The platform connects data that can create a real-time digital twin, which helps to unlock the insights needed to engineer smarter and operate better. Teams can work from any location in a single collaborative cloud environment. Systems are connected so that software applications, whether on premises, in the cloud or a hybrid mix, are more easily accessible.

AVEVA Connect and Microsoft Fabric can help to pull together the data analytics platform required for AI. Organizations can access their data to help unlock and further accelerate data potential, which can also help to empower teams. This can contribute to green software initiatives by providing a unified view of data from different stages of the manufacturing process, which can help to reduce waste, conserve energy, and improve overall efficiency and sustainability.
