AIM, the worldwide industry association for the automatic identification industry, has announced a partnership with the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). Under the agreement, AIM and the IIC will work together to align efforts to maximize interoperability, portability, security and privacy for the industrial internet. Joint activities between AIM and the IIC will include:
- Identifying and sharing best practices
- Collaboration on standards and specifications
- Positioning AIM and IIC speakers at industry events
- Collaboration on testbeds
