Sergio's focus areas include process industry measurement and control, instrumented safety systems, advanced control, simulators for operator training, and experience in oil & gas, pulp & paper, petrochemical, chemical, mining and other industries.
Sergio has over 30 years experience as a process engineer, control engineer, value added services manager, and Director at various companies, including SVS Consultores, Foxboro/Invensys, Tecna, Techint, Ormas, McKee, and the Argentinean National Atomic Company. Along with his focus areas, he has a wide range of knowledge with the Latin American market.
Sergio also has experience teaching industrial instrumentation, process control, and industrial digital control systems at different universities, institutes, and organizations, including Universidad de Buenos Aires, Universidad Tecnologica Nacional, ORT, and AADECA (Asociacion Argentina de Control Automatico). He has published several books and many articles related to those subjects.
Sergio is a Chemical Engineer and has taken several technical and sales/marketing courses at different companies and universities.
