Council Chronicles user presentation: Vivi Filippousi, Innovation Manager, European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic)
SusChem is a European initiative for sustainable chemistry combining industry, academia, and policy makers through national and regional public-private collaboration. Recently, SusChem launched its new Strategic Innovation and Research Agenda (SIRA). Looking out toward 2030, SIRA focuses on innovation priorities with strong relevance to sustainable chemistry. This includes considerations for the implementation and co-development of enabling digital technologies. Digital innovation presents a major contribution to long‑term European policy goals and national digital initiatives. The key document/project recommendations, ranging from R&D/Lab 4.0 to cognitive plants and supply chain integration, will be presented.
