Yokogawa Celebrated its Centennial with a Forum in Tokyo

Yokogawa's Centennial Forum was held in Tokyo on November 5, 2015. At the event, their new corporate vision, "Co-innovating Tomorrow," was introduced to around 100 executive guests, including clients and worldwide business partners.

Takashi Nishijima, President and Chief Executive Officer, opened the event by introducing this new corporate vision to Yokogawa's customers, while looking back at its 100-year history. Then, Wayne Hutchinson, Vice President, Contracting and Procurement, Projects and Strategic Sourcing, Shell Global Solutions International B.V., gave a guest speech. He spoke about his expectations for the future through Shell's strategic contractor partnership with Yokogawa.

Then, a panel discussion was held on the topic of Co-innovation for Customer Value Co-creation. Invited panelists included Kentaro Nobeoka, Professor of Hitotsubashi University; Masatoshi Nakahara, Director, Senior Vice President, Industrial Automation Platform Business Headquarters of Yokogawa; Satoshi Kurishima, Representative Director and Senior Executive Vice President of NTT DATA; and Steve Steinhilber, Vice President, Industrial Solutions Group, Partner Ecosystems of Cisco.

Satoru Kurosu, Director, Executive Vice President, Solutions Service Business Headquarters, Yokogawa, closed the forum with a message saying that Yokogawa, as a dependable automation provider, will continue its customer-centric strategy by listening to customers' issues, while deploying vertical and horizontal integration across its entire supply chain.
