The ARC Smart Cities team would like to invite Tech Session presenters, panelists and keynotes to submit to speak at IMSA’s Annual Conference, August 12-14th.
This three-day event will be centered on technical sessions and feature virtual exhibitors as well as interactive breakout sessions. Showcase your experience and expertise as a technical session presenter.

Do you offer a new approach, have a breakthrough technology solution or innovative, efficient technique?
Take advantage of this unique opportunity to submit a technical session proposal that will provide information and knowledge to attendees of the IMSA conference.
The IMSA is looking for creative, engaging educational sessions of any type or length that address cutting-edge topics and the latest trends in public safety technology.
Proposals which offer the following are particularly welcome:
- Projects and case studies that detail a specific problem you faced, how you solved it, what you learned, and what lessons can be applied to other circumstances
- Practical sessions that address common challenges or field experiences, or present new solutions to existing problems
- Engaging, interactive panel discussions that examine a single technology or concept from multiple perspectives
- New approaches and practices for long-time problems

About the IMSA
IMSA is the oldest known association of its kind in the world. It dates back to 1896 and counts Thomas A. Edison and the Edison Electric Company among its esteemed members. Today IMSA certifies tens of thousands of technicians and stands as the most regarded name in public safety.
IMSA Membership is comprised of persons employed by governmental organizations (city, county, state, federal, province, etc.) and private corporations who are interested in promoting Public Safety in the most economical manner. The IMSA objectives are to improve the efficiency, installation, construction, and maintenance of Public Safety equipment and systems by increasing the knowledge of its members on traffic controls, fire alarms, radio communications, roadway lighting, work zone traffic control, emergency medical services and other related systems.
IMSA offers educational and certification programs in Traffic Signals, Signs and Markings, Work Zone Traffic Control, Municipal and Interior Fire Alarm systems, Fiber Optics and Transportation Center Systems. To assist the governmental agencies in lowering the likelihood of unnecessary legal actions and to increase the quality of public safety personnel, it is the deep conviction of IMSA that a certification program is warranted in each area of public safety operations.
Through its international committees, IMSA successfully represents its members by undertaking and completing many important public safety projects. For example: working in an advisory capacity granted by the Federal Communications Commission IMSA provides coordination of public safety radio frequencies for the fire, emergency medical service and public safety pool including 800 MHz.
