For over twenty years, ARC Advisory Group has hosted the ARC Industry & City Forum, where over 1000 private and public sector leaders gather to discuss Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Smart City topics.  In its 2019 Forum, ARC Advisory Group is expanding the Smart Cities track – filling it with thought-provoking talks and discussion on topics that matter to you.  One such session is Smart City Platform Success Stories.

Examine Smart City Platform Success Stories

Smart cities comprise a “system of systems.”  These can include smart lighting systems, building automation systems, emergency management systems, security and access control systems, intelligent grids, renewable power, water treatment and supply, transportation, and more.  The smart city concept is not new; many of these systems existed well before the term “smart cities” was coined.  However, many end users are now attempting to integrate information from these disparate systems into a unified whole to provide a holistic view of the overall performance and state of the city and its various functions.

Integrating the wide variety of vertical applications in a Smart City is a significant challenge.  Come to the Smart City Platform Success Stories session at ARC’s Annual Forum to hear David Kramer of Ford Motor Company Research Labs, Dana Klein of CloudParc, and Chris Davis of Cimcon discuss various approaches as well as success stories in visualizing and implementing holistic smart city solutions.
