Bentley Systems announced that it has signed an agreement to acquire ACTION Modulers’ water modeling software business based near Lisbon, Portugal. The team of environmental modeling scientists and researchers, led by general director, Frank Braunschweig, develops ACTION’s modeling software products including MOHID Studio, ACTION Server, ACTION Flood, ACTION Forecast, ACTION Seaport, ACTION Beach, and ACTION Weather. The objective is to advance flood resilience through integration of infrastructure engineering, reality modeling, and environmental predictive analytics.
