A myriad of valves are doing indispensable jobs in thousands of installations. How can the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) help suppliers and users to simplify and optimize the never-ending job of monitoring and maintaining those valves?

ARC Advisory has been researching and publishing studies on industrial automation topics for 30 years, in this lecture we want to share some of our insights into the valve market and look at the impact the application of IIoT-Technologies can have on its development. Based on internal research and case studies we want to provide you with an outlook covering different options and possibilities. The opportunity to benefit from modern data collection, storage and analytics is open to small specialized manufacturers as well as to multinational full-automation providers. The same is true on the user side, disregarding the number of devices or installations.

ARC's Constanze Schmitz will hold a presentation at the Valve World Expo & Conference 2016 on November 29, 2016 at 2:00 PM (CET).

Furthermore, ARC will publish further information on this topic.
