ARC vice president and cybersecurity domain expert Sid Snitkin will speak about how ARC research shows that one of the biggest challenges for industrial firms with cybersecurity is a “security gap”, which is the lack of resources to maintain/use many of the defensive cybersecurity technologies that are being installed in today's plants and facilities. The answer to this challenge is a combination of hiring more resources and enabling external support, training, and tools to improve the efficiency of activities like asset inventories, evaluation of security alerts, patch management, etc.
